International Clothing Limited (ICL) was established in 1997 as a subsidiary of International Knitwear Limited (IKL). Initially, IKL specialized in manufacturing AERO sweaters, garments, and various knitwear products, primarily for export to Germany, the UK, France, Italy, and the USA. This focus on international markets helped IKL establish a solid reputation for quality and reliability in the global textile industry.

Upon its establishment, ICL assumed the local business operations of its parent company, IKL, and expanded its product portfolio to include woolen sweaters, men’s clothing, and innerwear for both men and women. This strategic move enabled ICL to meet the diverse needs of the domestic market while maintaining the high standards that defined its parent company.

In addition to its textile ventures, International Clothing Limited diversified into the fast-food industry by acquiring CHiPS, a renowned fast-food chain in Karachi. Since its inception in 1985, CHiPS has been a beloved brand. With its first outlet located in the Nishat Commercial Area of DHA Phase VI, Karachi. CHiPS has become a popular destination for food enthusiasts.

This acquisition reflects ICL’s commitment to broadening its business interests and contributing to the local economy. With plans to expand CHiPS outlets across Pakistan, ICL aims to bring its dedication to quality and customer satisfaction to new horizons in the fast-food industry.

After acquiring CHiPS, ICL is getting ready to open a coffee shop called “Aero”, which will offer a wide range of beverages including various coffees, Frappuccino’s, and more. Alongside that, will be serving ice cream — including cones, gelato, and a variety of desserts like brownies, croissants, other pastries, and cookies. ICL plans to expand the Coffee and sweets business across Pakistan by franchising and opening its own outlets.
